For nine days this fall—September 19-27, 2015—one of the largest cycling events in the world, The 2015 UCI Road World Championships (, will descend on Richmond, Virginia. Pop Up Revolution ( will coincide with this international cycling event to create an unprecedented opportunity to celebrate the best The City of Richmond and the South has to offer. The UCI Bike Race is expected to attract more than 450,000 national and international cycling enthusiasts, athletes, support staff and on-site spectators. The event will be covered by more than 500 media outlets and broadcast live to a worldwide television audience.

Pop Up Revolution will represent a vibrant merging of sports, shopping, food, music, art and live entertainment on the grounds of Plant Zero in the heart of the historic Manchester District and at the UCI bike race finish line downtown.

The UCI Bike Race has not been on American soil in 26 years. Pop Up Revolution is a community oriented approach to retail development, led by Richmond based international branding expert Micheal Sparks ( Pop Up Revolution breaks the traditional brick and mortar retail model with consumer and data-driven technology and a custom pop up retail experience, ideally timed for the UCI bike race event.
